I vastly prefer the Native Rendering Engine of World of Warcraft (WoW) versus the JME environment. WoW is way faster to load up and the the chances of running into a fatal error crash are near zero. Even though JME environments were reporting more than 1000+ frames per second (fps) in some cases, and WoW typically gives me only 100+, WoW still moves a lot more smoothly.
I understand that WoW is a polished game, produced for millions of subscribers, with a budget in the multi-millions, but the dedicated servers, and the ease of use for the end user puts it far ahead in my opinion. Though JME seems great for a development platform, and the accessibility to any user with the right Java update and an internet connection is not to be understated; the frequency of crashes and the slow response to input commands are still enough to keep me away from any JME games.
I have had an off and on subscription to WoW since it came out. So I reupped and decided to travel all over the place to highlight some cool stuff.
